The use of chemicals in pest control is very common all around the world. They usually comes in the form of insecticides which have different kinds of toxin in them. However, these toxins are only harmful to the pests and poses no threat to human beings.

How does insecticides work?

When the pests are exposed to insecticides, the toxins inside the insecticide will prevent the transmitting of nerve impulses to the brain. As a result, the brain will not be able to the rest of the body to do anything. Thus the insect will be paralysis and the body system of it will fail, causing it to die.
