Now imagine, millions of them crawling around your house, you will probably feel extremely grossed out. So how do we stop such scenarios from becoming a reality. One way is to look for some of the early signs of a cockroach infestation.

What are the early signs of cockroach infestation

Shedded skins

Like many other insects, cockroaches goes through different stages of growth. Throughout the process of growing from a nymph to an adult, cockroaches will shed their skin often. Thus if you see multiple shedded skin in your house, you should start taking action in getting rid of them.

Cockroach egg

Cockroaches lays capsule-like eggs known as ootheca, their shapes and sizes are all different for each of the species. The common ones found in houses are usually brown in color.They are usually hidden in area that is dark and warm. Each ootheca can hold up to 15 nymph and a female American cockroach can produced up to 14 of them. The rapid birth of new cockroaches is one of the causes of a cockroach infestation.

Cockroach droppings

Another early signs of roach infestation is their droppings. Their droppings usually looks like small black grains. If you came across a few of them, it means that they have passed by the area before. You should also clean them up as soon as you see them as they are full of bacterias.
